Mourinho, Van Gaal Agree On Man United Job

Former Chelsea boss who has signed a pre-contract to become the next manager of Manchester United, Jose
Mourinho has come to agreement with the club’s current manager, Louis Van Gaal over the enormity of responsibilities involved with the position.
According to Daily Star UK, quoting reports in Daily Telegraph UK on Tuesday, Mourinho has admitted that the job of managing Manchester United is more than that of one man as earlier noted by Van Gaal and is keen to bring Atletico Madrid sporting director, Andrea Berta to Old Trafford if he (Mourinho) replaces the Dutchman as manager at the end of the season.
The Daily Telegraph reports that Mourinho is expected to take over from Van Gaal in the summer despite no official announcement being made and that the Special One is very keen on the Italian joining him at Old Trafford to take charge of transfer dealings.
The former Chelsea manager is keen for United to change their structure and bring in Berta as a director of football.
That is one thing Van Gaal agrees with as he believes having one person in charge from top to bottom at Old Trafford is impossible.
The Dutchman has struggled with recruitment in his two seasons at the club with Angel di Maria, Radamel Falcao and Memphis proving to be huge flops.
Mourinho feels Berta – who has a good relationship with his agent Jorge Mendes – would be the right man to assist with United’s transfers.
United is currently sixth in the Premier League after beating arch-rivals Manchester City 1-0 on Sunday.
They are now just one point behind Manuel Pellegrini’s men and level with West Ham as they fight for the final Champions League qualifying spot.
